How do I Setup my Sand Candle?

How to Set Up Your ZENZU Sand Candle

  1. Choose a vessel at least 9 cm wide.
  2. Pour the granulated candle wax into the vessel.
  3. Insert the wick into the sand and light it.

Each wick burns for approximately 10 to 12 hours. Once the wick is used up, remove any remaining wax, insert a fresh wick, and enjoy your candle again!

How long does a wick burn?

Each wick typically burns for 10 to 12 hours, providing long-lasting enjoyment.

Do I have to change the wick every time I light the candle?

Each wick lasts 10 to 12 hours and can be relit multiple times until fully burned. To give your candle a refreshed look, you can remove the hardened wax, break it apart, and place it back into the vessel with the wax flipped upside down.

What is the proper wick replacement?

To maximise burn time, insert the wick into the candle sand, leaving only 0.5–1 cm visible above the surface. If too much wick is exposed, it will burn rapidly until it reaches the sand, shortening the overall burn duration.

What kind of vessel can I use?

To achieve the best performance, select a vessel with a width of at least 9 cm. This allows the melt pool to stay safely away from the container’s edges. While fireproof vessels are recommended, other containers can also work if they provide enough space to prevent overheating. Ensure there is a minimum of 5 cm between the wick and the sides of the vessel for safe and effective burning.

Can I use essential oils with the ZENZU Sand Candle?

Yes, you can enhance your candle by adding a few drops of essential oil near the wick before lighting it. Keep in mind that the fragrance from essential oils is more subtle and natural compared to synthetic scented candles, making it ideal for smaller spaces.

How is ZENZU Sand Candle safer that other candles?

Unlike traditional candles, ZENZU Sand Candles are designed to self-extinguish if tipped over or when the wick burns out. This makes them a safer choice and an excellent option for weddings and events!

Regular candles give me a headache/cause allergic reactions. Is your candle any different?

Ordering and delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes, you can place an order as a guest without needing to create an account. However, we recommend creating an account to easily access your order history, save payment details, and keep items in your shopping basket for future purchases. Setting up an account is quick and simple just visit our website and follow the on-screen steps.

Where is my order confirmation?

Your order confirmation will be automatically emailed to you after placing an order. If you don’t receive it within 24 hours, please reach out to us at info@yourzenzu.com to ensure there are no issues with your order. Before contacting us, be sure to check your spam or junk folder, as the email may have been filtered there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We generally only cancel orders if there’s an issue with stock or if you’ve requested the cancellation. If your order is canceled due to an issue on our end, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. In such cases, we’ll promptly provide an alternative product or issue a full refund as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

There is a limited window between placing your order and the start of processing. If you reach out to us immediately at info@yourzenzu.com after placing your order, we’ll do our best to cancel it before processing begins. If we’re unable to cancel in time, your order will be dispatched, and you can return it to us if you wish once it arrives.

Can I alter my order?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes to your order once processing has begun. If you need to add more items or increase the quantity, please place a new order through our website.

When will my order arrive?

For orders shipping within Australia, delivery typically takes 3 to 10 days, depending on your chosen shipping method. International orders outside of the U.S. may take up to 14 days for delivery. If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to check the status for you.

What countries do you ship to?

We offer shipping to most regions around the globe.

How much is shipping?

The buyer is responsible for all shipping fees, which will be displayed on the checkout page for each order. We use real-time rates from Australia Post with costs determined by the destination and the package's weight.

Can I track my order?

Yes, we’ll keep you updated at every stage of your order from placement to dispatch and delivery. Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a delivery confirmation email with a tracking reference, allowing you to monitor your order’s progress online.

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

You can return your item within 14 days of receiving it, provided it’s unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags and labels intact. Please note that we do not offer exchanges. If you’re uncertain about clothing sizes, we suggest ordering the two closest options and returning the one that doesn’t fit.

How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@yourzenzu.com. If your return falls within the 14-day cancellation period and meets our return criteria, we will email you a return note. Simply print it out and attach it to the product’s packaging before sending it back to us. Please note that you are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of suitable packaging for the return.

What do I do if I lose my return note?

Return notes are sent via email. If you still have the original email, you can print a new copy from there. If you can’t locate the email, please contact us, and we’ll resend it to you.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the item and email our customer service team at info@yourzenzu.com with the details. We’ll respond within 48 hours to assist you. If you’re unhappy with the product for any reason, you can return it, provided it is in “as new” condition, in its original packaging, and with all labels attached.

How long does it take to return an item?

The time it takes to return your item depends on the carrier or shipping method you select. Once we receive your return, we’ll send you an email notification. Refunds are typically processed within three days of the item arriving at our warehouse, but please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to transfer the funds to your account or card.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we offer gift vouchers, which are sent electronically via email and come with a unique reference number. They’re a perfect choice if you’re unsure what to get for someone special. You can purchase gift vouchers in denominations of $10, $20, or $50.
